Theater auditions for the 2010/2011 Season at the Nextdoor Theater, Massachusetts.
The theater is seeking to cast 8 local actors (4 m, 4 f) for a “core company” from which all mainstage shows for 2010/11 will be cast.
Actors of all ages (above 18), races and ability are invited to audition for what will be a stipended performance opportunity in this rising new theater’s development of a full season of shows ranging from drama to comedy to musical.
Equity actors will be considered.
Casting Breakdown Shows for summer 2010 are Little Shop of Horrors, Nunsense, Honk, You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown and Barefoot in the Park.
Shows being considered fall and beyond are 25th Annual Spelling Bee, Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, Rumors, Company, Into the Woods, Once on this Island.
Open call auditions are scheduled for Wednesday May 12 & 19 from 7-9 (or by appt.) at the NexDoor Theater at 40 Cross Street.
Please bring 2 contrasting monologues and 16 bars of up tempo and 16 bars of a ballad.
