Up & Coming Theatre is excited to announce auditions for our summer 2010 production of HAIRSPRAY!!!
Anyone ages 11 and up may audition either Monday, May 24 or Tuesday May 25 from 7-10 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3201 Meadow Dr., Rolling Meadows, IL 60008. No appointments are necessary but auditionees are asked to come no later than 9 pm.
All auditionees, please prepare 32 bars from a musical theatre selection in the style of the show and be dressed to dance. An accompanist will be provided and all roles are available. Callbacks will be held Thursday, May 27th.
Performances will take place during the first 2 full weekends in August at Cutting Hall Theater in Palatine.
We are excited to have a longtime UAC member have an opportunity to direct and choreograph for us and thus welcome Jen Cupani as our director/choreographer. Niall Casserly will music direct. Executive producer is Nicolette de Guia.
