Auditions for indie feature – Shooting an independent feature film, Simea in the Morning, Simea in the Evening in August and will need actors to fill speaking roles and as extras. We require that all actors possess:
• Punctuality (must be 10 minutes early on set)
• Positive attitude
• Excellent Acting Ability
The movie: Simea… is about a young intellectual couple who meet at a party, fall in love and move in with each other. Simea, who’s getting an M.F.A, and John, who’s getting a Master’s degree in Social Work, get engaged but their lives slowly fall apart. The film is a cross between Sam Mendes Revolutionary Road and John Cassavetes’ A Woman Under the Influence. Contact information is at the end of the email.

Simea – Lead – attractive mid-20s female grad student. Some “R” rated nudity and kissing/physical contact required
Cindy – attractive mid-20s Asian woman. Simea’s friend since grade school. Performance driving required
Chris – mid-20s male. Simea’s co-worker at the Grocery Co-op
Brad – 40s. Simea’s boss at the Grocery Co-op
Dwayne – mid-20s male. Simea’s outgoing college friend
Rich – mid-20s male. Simea’s ex-boyfriend and college friend
Mike – mid-20s male. Simea’s college friend
R.J. – late 20s male hip-hopper
Lena – mid-20s R.J.’s wife and Simea’s college friend
Sarah – mid-20s volunteer coordinator with John at the Menard campaign headquarters
Louise – no age preference. Phone banking volunteer at the Menard campaign headquarters
Carl – no age preference. Phone banking volunteer at the Menard campaign headquarters
Caroline – 40-50s – Simea’s professor

• Since we have a very small budget (no surprise there) the only compensation we would provide is food and credit. The roll of SIMEA, however will be paid.
