“Chicago Fire” New Season Cast Call for Extras – Chicago

NBC’s “Chicago Fire” is in production of the new 2027 season

The show’s casting directors are now booking talent to work as paid background actors on “Chicago Fire“.

“Chicago Fire” is produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, the same man that is behind the very popular “Law and Order” franchise. “Chicago Fire” is now filming the new season in …. you guessed it, the Chicago area.  The show follows the lives of the men and women who work at the fictional firehouse 51. The high octane drama gives viewers a glimpse into the lives of firefighters, paramedics and rescue workers who put their lives on the line on a daily basis. The successful show launched a spin-off  called “Chicago P.D.“  many years back followed by another spin-off  “Chicago Med.” 

This does film in the Chicago area – Please only apply if you are local to Chicago and have full availability for the work dates listed.

Searching for MALES AND FEMALES, ALL ETHNICITIES, 20s to 70s, to work on Friday, Sept. 11th. We need a few people to work on Thursday, Sept. 10th. If you are available to work on Thursday (instead of Friday), let us know. We could film until 10 PM on Friday.
WE ARE CASTING BUSINESS COMMUTERS, CASUAL COMMUTERS, JOGGERS, AND PEDS (Pedestrians).
Please don’t apply if you worked this week or are scheduled to work a future episode of Chicago Fire.
These are non-speaking extra roles.
Pay rate: $ 136.4 for 8 hours, and time and a half after 8 hours. We film about a 12-hour day. Checks are mailed about two weeks after filming.

Searching for a CAUCASIAN MALE, BEARDS OKAY, 30s to 60s, 5’10” to 6’1, 220 to 310 lbs, to work as a STAND-IN (same height, weight, complexion, and hair color as the actor to use in place of the actor to light and camera block the set) on Wed., Sept 9th, and Thurs., Sept 10th on Chicago Fire.
These are paid, non-speaking extra roles.
Pay rate: $192 for 8 hours, plus time and a half after 8 hours. We film about a 12-hour day. We could start as early as 5:30 AM.

(A photo double matches the actor in their build, complexion, and hair color— filmed for wide and insert shots in place of the actor.)

Photo Doubles Pay rate: $ 170 for 6 hours, and time and a half after 6 hours
Dates needed:
Sept. 15th – Filming on set
Sept. 16th – Filming on set
Sept. 17th – Filming on set
Children need to have a JOAN PHILO CASTING work permit. (We can tell you how to get one)
The guardian and child need to be available on all three dates to submit.
