This is a once-in-a–lifetime opportunity to audition to become Ringmaster of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® — The Greatest Show On Earth®!
Feld Entertainment, the world’s largest producer of live, family entertainment is holding auditions for Ringmaster for the upcoming production of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Circus.
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® is seeking a male performer; between 20 and 45 years of age; 5’10” or over; must be a strong singer of any vocal range with wonderful diction & strong projection and ideally possess comic abilities and improvisational skills; must have stature and authority and also be fun, charismatic, and energetic; looking for a commanding personality to interact with and lead the audience and oversee the proceedings with extraordinary confidence. The ringmaster is also the spokesperson for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® for media and promotional purposes; multilingual skills are a plus as well as any other special skills. The Ringmaster position will begin this November 2010 and holds a minimum of a one-year contract.

REQUIREMENTS:
(1) Please bring a non-returnable headshot and resume.
(2) PPlease be prepared to audition to the song, “Showtime.” You can access PDF files of the sheet music here (vocal) andhere (piano), and an MP3 of the song here. (If you need Adobe Reader to view the PDF files, you can get it here.)
(3) Also be prepared to audition a song of your choice and provide sheet music for piano or mp3 for accompaniment.
