Equinox Theatre Company announces auditions for:
Reefer Madness, the “hit” musical

Performances will be August 27th – Sept 17th, Fri and Sat night, plus one industry night, TBD.
All performances will be at The Bug Theatre, 3654 Navajo Street in Denver.
Show Synopsis:
Reefer Madness is a musical satire of the 1938 cult classic film. It tells the story of young Jimmy Harper, who finds his life of promise turned into a life of debauchery and murder thanks to a new drug menace. Along the way, he receives help from his girlfriend Mary and Jesus himself – but Jimmy always finds his way back to the Reefer Den.
Auditions beging at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, Callbacks will be May 12 at The Bug Theatre
What to prepare:
Please prepare 16 – 32 bars of any Broadway song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided – no CD’s but we will allow a cappella auditions.
No monologue required, but be prepared to dance.
