Sketch Comedy Troupe Seeks Male and Female Actors

AUDITION NOTICE

The new sketch comedy troupe The ForePlayers is holding general auditions for actors and actresses ages 19 and older.
General auditions will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, September 8, 2010 between 5:30pm and 10:30pm
Thursday, September 9, 2010 between 5:30pm and 10:30pm
at Niagara’s Best Brewery and Pub, located at: 6863 Lundy’s Lane, Niagara Falls, ON, L2G 1V7.

The purpose of the auditions is to cast several male and female roles within our sketch comedy troupe. We are filming online sketches starting mid-September that will launch on our website no later than November. Auditions will be by appointment only, and only those selected for an audition will be contacted. If you have a strong preference for one date over the other, clearly state your availability (though we cannot guarantee being able to accommodate all conflicts).
To be considered for an audition, please e-mail your resume, contact information, and headshot or recent photograph to auditions@theforeplayers.com no later than Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:59pm.
Audition requirements:
Arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition timeslot.
Wear attire you can move around in (ie: sweatpants and a t-shirt).
We will be providing you with material to read before your audition timeslot.

As we have a small budget, we are unable to offer our cast and crew members a salary. We are, however, creating a bio-pic section on our website. If you are selected to join our troupe, we will allow you to post your headshot, photographs, your resume, and any links to personal websites or portfolios as compensation for your time. This will help you gain exposure as an actor and collectively we can all build this company.
