Online auditions “Losing It” – New York City
New York Casting Call and audition for 3 teens (2 Puerto Rican girls/ Latina and 1 African American) to star in a feature film by an Oscar winning production company.
Oscar winning production company, SAMSON FILMS in association with ESCAPE PICTURES are currently casting for LOSING IT, the second feature film from award-winning director, Macdara Vallely. Scheduled for production in summer 2010, the film is a bitter-sweet comedy about a girl’s struggle to care for her irresponsible mother. The roles are open to Union and Non-Union actors. All actors will be paid.
We are looking for fresh new talent with passion and a commitment for the role – so you won’t need a fancy headshot or impressive resumé to apply.
TEEN ROLES
LENA (15) – a funny, smart, resourceful nuyorican girl who perhaps takes herself a little too seriously.
DAISHAN (16) – latina, confident, a quick temper and an answer for everything.
PATREEK (16) – black kid, tall, easy-going, friendly.
ADULT ROLES
LUCY (34) – single, working mother, Puerto Rican. Fun-loving, but lonely.
VICTOR (26) – nuyorican. Handsome and cunning.
CARMEN (37) – latina, grounded, middle-class.
To audition for the roles, you must follow the following instructions
1. Download an appropriate audition scene by clicking here.
2. Make a video recording of your audition following these instructions.
3. Upload the video to www.youtube.com (we recommend that you use the private video option described here that way, no one else will be able to see your audition)
4. Send a link to your video to info@castinglosingit.com
