Gorilla Tango theater will be holding auditions for a production of what sounds like a really fun show. They are seeking actors with great comedy sketch / improvisational skills because the script will be created based on improvisations done in rehearsals.
Chicago theater auditions
The theater is seeking actors of all genders, ethnicities, shapes, and sizes with improvisation/sketch comedy skills who are involved with or who are familiar with the bar/club/party scene in Chicago. Throughout the rehearsal process, a script will be created based on improvisations done in rehearsals. Audience participation games and songs will be included in the script. The plot of the script will take place at a Wrigleyville house party and will include several alternate audience -selected plot-points, similar to a “choose your own adventure” book.
Time Commitment:
Rehearsals begin mid June and the initial run will be September 4th,11th,18th, and 25th, with the possibility of extension that will include payment to the actors. Shows will take place from 11:30pm-12:30pm at Gorilla Tango Theatre.
