AMC New Series “Turn” Speaking Roles

Speaking Roles for new AMC series

AMC is coming up with another new series… well now that the runaway hit “Breaking Bad” is over. The new takes place during the Revolutionary war and tells the story of a spy ring composed of young revolutionary war soldiers during that time.

The show has just began production and casting directors for the series, Arvold Casting, are seeking paid extras and featured extras that can fit into that time frame, longish, natural hair. This casting call is a Union gig.

The latest casting call is for some speaking roles on the project which films in the central Virginia area.

TURN is based on the novel written by Alexander Rose called Washington’s Spies about the same topic.

The show is set in 1778, where a farmer named, Abe Woodhull gets together with some of his friends to form a spy ring. This unlikely band of friends does a great job and begins to make a difference in the Revolutionary war. The friends form the Culper Ring and begin making a dent and eventually turning the tides for the soldiers fighting on their side.

Turn is written by Craig Silverstein and directed by Rupert Wyatt.
