I’m working with a crew to produce a webisode series and I’m in the process of finding actors for our lead role and also extras.
The synopsis around the series is based of the romeo and juilet tradgic story. Classic story of Romeo and Juliet set in a modern-day city of Verona Beach. The Black knights and The South side locos are two feuding gangs, in which a member of both group fall in love.. They have to hide their love from the world because they know that their gangs will not allow them to be together. There are obstacles on the way, like Juliet’s brother, Tyrone, and Romeo’s crew and many fights. But although it is set in modern times, it is still the same timeless story of the “star crossed lovers”.
I’ve got my juilet but im still looking for my romeo. The actor I perfer to cast needs to meet these qualities, I’m willing to try some different people, this is not set in stone.
Romeo – A medium built African american/ hispanic 6” ft tal or taller l. Be able to play an arrogant cocky smart ass but also a sweetheart and a sucker for the damsel in distressed. Not to much of tough guy.
The Shoot day is monday May 3rd and the following 3 mondays after that. the shoot days wont be to long. Usually around 6 to 8 hrs or maybe even less depending on how fast we can get it done.
