Is so…Casting producers for The Price Is Right are searching for energetic contestants to appear on the long-running CBS game show. Auditions set to take place at Rivers Casino Philadelphia, this summer. The “Price Is Right” has been a staple of daytime gameshows as long as I can remember and its still going strong it seems.
“The Price Is Right,” will hold an open casting call at Rivers Casino Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 22.
Anyone interested in appearing on the show can come on down to the open audition and try their luck.
During the audition process, hopeful contestants will have about one minute to introduce themselves and show off their enthusiasm. Producers will then choose two semifinalists from the Philadelphia event, with one guaranteed the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles to appear as a contestant on the show. Travel and accommodations will be covered for the selected participants.
Hosted by Drew Carey, The Price Is Right remains the highest-rated daytime series on network television and the longest-running game show in TV history. The show recently made headlines after a contestant won more than $240,000 in cash and prizes during a single pricing game, setting a new record for the series.
The Philadelphia event marks the fourth major television casting hosted by Rivers Casino in the past 15 months, with previous searches attracting attendees from across the region and beyond. The show is produced by Fremantle and airs weekdays on CBS, with streaming also available on Paramount+.
