Featured Background for Netflix Series Free Bert
A featured background casting call is now open for the upcoming Netflix scripted comedy Free Bert, starring and co-created by Bert Kreischer.
The perpetually shirtless stand-up comedian stars as a version of himself in this six-episode series, which follows Bert as his unrestrained antics make his family outcasts after his daughters enroll in an elite Beverly Hills private school. Determined to fit in, Bert decides it’s finally time to put on a shirt — literally and figuratively — and try to suppress his true self.
Production is seeking non-union talent to work as local hires in the Atlanta, GA area (no transportation or lodging provided) .
Applicants must have flexible, full-day availability, as exact call times are not yet set.
Pay: $150 for up to 12 hours, plus overtime if applicable.

Project UPDATE – “FREE BERT” Season 2
OLC is happy to announce that we have begun prep on Season 2 of the Netflix series ‘Free Bert” – which will be filmed again in the ATLANTA, GA area starting around 6/29/26!!!!
We’ll be needing a lot of our recurring background talent from Season 1 as well as many new faces!If you already have an account in the OLC database (www.onlocationcasting.net), please log-in to your account to make sure your photos, contact information and sizes are up to date. Please do NOT create a new account if you have an existing one! Also – it is FREE to update your profile/account and you can bypass (X out of) any notifications that suggest you have to pay.

We haven’t gotten any breakdowns or schedules yet, but some general types we will be looking to book include: Upscale Wealthy Looking Types, 18 to look younger who can play High School, High School Students ages 14-17, Middle School and High School Wrestlers with experience, Fit Athletic Gym Goers, Spin Class Goers with experience, Dive Bar patrons, Teachers, and much more!
We are not currently accepting submissions yet until we get our schedules. But we ARE looking for those of you who worked last season to include Stand-ins to let us know if you are interested/available to join us again this season.
