The feature film Thirsty Girl is now filming in and around Nashville.
The production is expected to film from mid-May through mid-June 2026 and is seeking Nashville area locals to work as paid background actors.
Thirsty Girl Movie:
The film is written and directed by Alexandra Qin and expands on her 2023 Sundance-selected short film of the same name.
The story follows a woman driving her sister to rehab while quietly struggling with an addiction of her own. The feature adaptation now in production, background casting is seeking local performers and those who just want to work on set for a day.
Casting in Nashville:
Jenny Alison Casting is handling background talent for the project. The production is seeking non-union extras in the Nashville area, with all roles being hired locally.
Note: No travel or housing is being provided, so applicants must be able to work as local hires.
