Character – SASHA: Handsome, boyish face (recent college grad, so in their 20s), ETHNICALLY PAKISTANI/(or Indian) Brit. Is an aspiring broadcast journalist. He’s an intellectual hustler. He’s Westernized, but is trapped on the fault line of competing cultures. (The ability to speak with a British accent is a must.)
Logline: A Pakistani Brit refuses to settle for anything less than his dream of one day becoming a broadcast journalist. Getting there will require him to stand up to his father, take risks, and face London’s racial undertones.
Shoot dates. 8 days between 11/12 and 11/21.
We’re doing some very interesting things, including shooting green screen with background plates shot in London.
