Netflix officially announced the renewal of Sweet Magnolias for its fourth season on October 19, 2023. The show, originally, was not scheduled to be released in 2024 and was potentially premiering in early 2025, with a chance, that premiere date may be pushed forward to fall 2024. Sweet Magnolias is among the list of series, including The Lincoln Lawyer, Ginny and Georgia, and XO, Kitty, set to return with new seasons. Filming began, after the strikes of last year got resolved, in January 2024 and the Netflix show is expected to film through May in the area.
