Open Auditions for Disney’s Aladdin

Disney’s California Adventure in Anaheim, CA is holding auditions for non-equity performers with ethnic looks for it’s production of Aladdin. Auditions will be held in NYC at Ripley-Grier Studios.

Disney Parks Talent Casting is looking for Actor/Singers to perform in our Broadway-caliber, theatrical production of Disney’s Aladdin  A Musical Spectacular. Originally directed by world-renowned, award-winning director Francesca Zambello and choreographed by acclaimed Broadway choreographer Lynne Taylor-Corbett, this show is performed in the state-of-the-art, indoor, 2000-seat Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure® park in Anaheim, CA.

Seeking performers with an ethnic look for:

Aladdin:
Male 18+ to play 18-22. 5’7”-5’11”, baritone/tenor with a youthful sound. Great charisma, good physique. Good looking guy filled with teenage charm and appeal. Clever. Survives on the streets of Agrabah.

Jasmine:
Female 18+ to play 18-22. 5’2”-5’6”, soprano with a strong mix, contemporary musical theatre/Disney princess sound. Beautiful, sense of humor, independent and feisty. Desperately longs to experience life beyond the castle walls.

Contracts begin October 17th and run approximately one year. Performances begin November 21st. Relocation assistance and full medical/dental benefits are available.

Final callback will be held September 3.

Prepare 16 bars of a contemporary musical theatre selection showing vocal versatility and range; you may sing from the show. Bring sheet music in your key, an accompanist will be provided. Be prepared for a possible movement evaluation. Bring picture and resume, stapled together.
