Bon Voyage (Short Film)

Childhood friends Isaac and Mark must figure out what to do when Isaac brings his dead college friend home for the summer.
This is going to be a really tense film, but it’ll have plenty of funny, lighthearted, and nostalgic moments.
We’ll be filming June 8-12 in Mooresville, NC and August 29-30 in Winston-Salem, NC (at UNC School of the Arts).
Here are the roles I am looking to cast:
Isaac (18-20): 1st year student at a prestigious university; has recently become a drug addict; cool and calm, until things don’t work out
Mark (17-19): Recent high school graduate, A+ student; calm and confident; empathetic
Neither character has the life experience to deal with their tragic situation. They begin to panic as everything that could possibly go wrong does.
Pete (late 40s/50s): Not the brightest of the bunch; loves Jazz with a passion; somewhat paranoid

– Must have a car
– Must be able to film in Winston-Salem for 2 days at the end of August (Isaac ONLY)
– Pete will only be needed for 1 day in June
This will be a non-paid job. We can’t even pay ourselves! This film will be an impressive addition to everyone’s body of work, though! Also, you’ll get free food.
I’m extremely excited to make this. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and we’re going to make a great film together!
