Amazon Studios has a new movie in production formerly called “American Express”
The movie will be directed by Nash Edgerton, stunt man and movie director. Charlize Theron is said to be producing the project. “American Express” will star Theron, David Oyelowo, and Amanda Seyfried. Filming is beginning and the project will shoot around the Chicago area.
Chicago’s 4 Star Casting has released a few new casting notices out for local talent to fill small background roles in scenes filming this coming week.
According to a story about the movie on Reel Chicago, Amazon has already set up shop. They have rented offices at CSC on the West Side and are calling the film project, “The Nash Edgerton Project” (formerly “American Express”). The movie will be filming in February and March of 2016.
Stunt man and Australian director Nash Edgerton is heading the project and his brother Joel Edgerton also has a co-starring role. Charlize Theron is named as one the movie’s producers. She will produce through her Denver & Delilah company. Also producing is Rebecca Yeldham, who recently produced Joel Edgerton‘s directorial debut “The Gift.” The movie’s script is written by Matthew Stone and Anthony Tambakis.
“The Nash Edgerton Project” (“American Express”) will be filming in the Chicago area this coming week. The project is about to wrap but there are still a few upcoming scenes that are still looking for talent. Currently, the movie’s casting directors are only considering talent in the Chicago, Illinois area.
