This short film is intended for the festival circuit run in Los Angeles, beginning with an international premiere at the prestigious University of California Los Angeles Campus Movie Festival. This film is a dedication to all the recent suicide victims and their families, such as the students from Mentor High School in Ohio that took their lives due to bullying. The filmmakers hope to impact the students at UCLA and eventually push the film worldwide.
This film traces the origins of bullying from family to peers and the affect these situations have on our young teenage protagonist, Sameer Zakkar. The story follows Sameer as he learns about himself, his sexuality, and what the price that being yourself can be in a cruel world where everyone else cannot understand. Zakkar battles all these attacks and must ultimately decide if and how he can make his inner pain stop.
