The food network has an open call scheduled for both professional and amateur chefs in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Food Network is casting the 2011 season of “The Next Food Network Star.”
Chefs and home cooks from Ohio will get their chance to break into show business when the reality competition holds open-call auditions Sept. 20 in Cleveland.
“The Next Food Network Star” picks 10 contestants who through various challenges, compete against each other for the grand prize, their own show on the Food Network.

420 Superior Ave. East, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Contestants should bring an application, two photographs and résumé and/or bio to the auditions with network casting directors.
Can’t make the open call? Thats also OK. The Food Network is accepting applications through the mail. You can create a 3 minute video and send it to them.
