Auditioning for 10 dancers, both men and women. Apprenticeships also available. Dancers must be professional caliber and ballet trained. Modern dance experience a plus. Ladies are expected to perform on pointe. Looking for men with partnering experience. Rehearsals are evenings and weekends. Dancers are expected to be disciplined, committed and attend scheduled rehearsals.

Dancers must be able to travel. Dancers are compensated for performances. Travel expenses are paid. The company will be performing the spring and fall performances in Little Rock, Arkansas, Fort Worth, TX, Dallas, TX, Kansas City, MO and other cities TBA.

Auditions are held in the form of a class. To be considered for an audition, send your headshot, body shot, resume, a recommendation letter from a church minister, and a one paragraph statement telling us your salvation experience and how knowing the Lord has impacted your life. Auditions will be held March 6, 2010 at 2p.m. at Studio One Dance Center: 5421 Basswood Blvd. Suite 780, Fort Worth, TX 76137Space is limited. All dancers must RSVP before coming to reserve a space at the audition. Audition class fee is $15. Send an email to votum@votumdance.com to RSVP. Votum Dance Company, a newly formed, professional, missions-based Christian ballet company in Fort Worth, TX is currently auditioning for dancers for the 2010 season. Votum Dance Company choreography features a blend of classical ballet and modern dance including the Horton, Graham, and Limon modern dance styles. Our dances utilize different forms and genres of music presenting innovative and conceptual themes. We perform pieces with live musicians and spoken poetry as well as spontaneous improvizational pieces. Votum Dance Company encompasses the Forerunner vision of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, MO (www.ihop.org) and is looking for dancers who agree with the vision and are dedicated to prayer and a life of adoration to the Lord Jesus Christ.
