Auditions for the 2010-2011 Season! Friday, June 4 at 7:30pm in Fairfax, VA.
Dancin’ Unlimited is a professional jazz dance company that performs in many venues for Concerts, Shows, Festivals, Corporate Events, Conventions, Fairs, Trade Shows, Schools, and many other special events.
The company’s broad and versatile repertoire ranges from classical jazz dance to hip-hop, and from the Big Band era to Broadway.
Dancin’ Unlimited produces new and exciting programs each year with an emphasis on excellence in jazz dance, variety and professionalism.
Dancin’ Unlimited produces the only annual Jazz & Tap Dance Festival in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
All of the dancers are seasoned performers with extensive classical dance training and jazz dance experience.
Dancin’ Unlimited provides it’s company members with opportunities for performance, artistic growth, and appreciation.
Dancers are paid for performances.
Company requirements:
Eighteen years of age or older,
Formal classical dance training,
Strong current ballet and jazz dance technique,
Ability to quickly learn new choreography and style,
Good stage presence and personality,
One year dance company commitment.
You will be contacted after your dance resume is accepted to audition for the company.
Auditions are conducted by the Artistic Director at a dance studio in a master class environment.
A $15 audition fee will be collected at the audition.
If accepted, rehearsals and classes are conducted in Fairfax Virginia on Friday evenings and weekends.
Company personnel are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to attend all classes and rehearsals.
