‘aWake’ follows William, a married, middle aged man who attends a former lover’s “living wake” along with his wife where he struggles to validate the decisions in his life. Question’s of fulfillment and regret arise regarding his marriage, and wether or not it is too late for a second chance.
This is a Chapman University Advanced Production Student Film with an emphasis on character. It’s a powerful piece, with a universal message. It will be sent to film festivals nationwide.
We are seeking 30+ extras for the party/ wake. Specifically we are looking for adults, both men and women age 30-60. This is a great scene and will be fun for all involved. Only one days work. Unfortunately we are unable to pay, but we will be providing snacks and a hot meal, as well as entertainment throughout the day. Your help would be greatly appreciated and would aid in creating a powerful, truly memorable piece of cinema.
We will be filming this Saturday (April 10th) from 12:30pm-10:30pm.
