Auditions for Opera – Palm Springs
The opera to be performed for the fall 2010 season has yet to be chosen. Works under consideration incude “La Traviata,” “Cosi Fan Tutti,” “Iolanthe,” “The Gondoliers,” “Eugene Onegin” and Gounod’s “Romeo and Juliet.”
Singers wanting to audition should bring an aria to perform. An accompanist will be provided.
College of the Desert’s Social Science and Arts Division will hold auditions for its fall opera production at 7 p.m. Monday in the Pollock Theatre on the Palm Desert campus, 43-500 Monterey Ave.
