Audition for Tango Performance Troupe

We are experienced stage tango choreographers looking for dancers to form a LA/OC based branch of our successful SF Bay Area Troupe “Tangroupe.”
This is for Argentine tango and cabaret. We have a new studio in Westminster and would like to get this project started asap. We will hold auditions Saturday Jan. 22 and Saturday Jan. 29 from noon to 6pm. We would like individuals experienced in partner dancing, aerial dancing, or those classically trained in ballet. HOWEVER, we are willing to audition anyone who has a knack for picking up choreo, a lot of enthusiasm, and performance experience. Any Argentine tango experience is a plus. This troupe would compete (and win) in formation competitions, perform exhibitions at festivals, and entertain at parties. Your compensation is free training until the group is good enough to get the paid gigs and contract productions. We are looking for performers 18-35yrs. old. Please rvsp to the audition by noon on the Friday before the audition you wish to attend. If you are unable to make either audition, please contact us for other arrangements. Please wear dance attire, with appropriate footwear. Rehearsal Schedule will be discussed at audition.
