Soul Steps speaks the language of rhythm. Founded in 2005 and based in New York, the co-ed company integrates South African and hip-hop rhythms to create an interactive performance. We bring power, energy and motion to the stage. Soul Steps is a reflection of the multi-dimensionality of dance. We use our entire bodies to speak, and our steps combine visual art, music and theater. Soul Steps performs and teaches throughout the United States and internationally.
Soul Steps is in search of steppers with previous experience. Members should be available to tour with Soul Steps for 2-3 weeks out of the year. If you share our passion for step and are seeking a professional career as a step artist, we invite you to audition for our company.
To register for auditions, email ndennie@soulsteps.com by Friday July 29, 2011. Audition by appointment only. Must come with a prepared 1-2 minute step routine.
