CALL FOR AUDITIONS
“Because We Believe…A Night of Broadway”
WHO: The Robert E. Kauffman Fund of Anne Arundel Community College and The Children’s Theatre of Annapolis

WHAT: “Because We Believe: A Night of Broadway” (BWB) is a production of four performances to benefit the Robert E. Kauffman Fund and Children’s Theatre of Annapolis. The performance dates are September 28, through September 30, 2012.
BWB is calling for performers, from the greater Annapolis region, in a variety of theatre performance disciplines which include vocalists, dancers and actors to audition. Auditioners can be solo performers, duos, trios, and small ensembles, and must be ages 12 or older. Audition forms require parental signature if under age 18. If selected, the piece presented at the audition will be the piece performed during the production; no substitutions can be made.
VOCALISTS: Please to have 2 pieces prepared with accompaniment on a “music only” compact disc – no vocal recorded music or a cappella singing is allowed. The 2 selections can be from any Broadway show and should not exceed 5 minutes in length each. Please bring a standard headshot or a clear portrait photo no smaller than 4”x6”.
DANCERS: Please to have 2 pieces prepared with accompaniment on a compact disc. The 2 selections can be from any Broadway show and should not exceed 5 minutes in length each. Dance or character shoes are required. Please bring a standard headshot or a clear portrait photo no smaller than 4”x6”.
ACTORS: Please to have 2 pieces prepared with 2 copies of the script/reading; no “script-in-hand” reading is allowed. The 2 selections can be from any Broadway show and should not exceed 5 minutes in length each. Please bring a standard headshot or a clear portrait photo no smaller than 4”x6”.
WHEN: Saturday, August 18, 12pm to 5pm + Sunday, August 19, 2pm to 6pm
