Casting Notice Details:
Los Angeles-based Executive Producer is developing a new cross-media platform culinary show in Napa Valley, California. The filmed show segments will be distributed throughout our national online network affiliates and our audio segments will be broadcast nationwide throughout the ABC Radio/Cumulus Media Networks, Pandora and Slacker Radio.
We’re looking for a young, vibrant chef with a great personality to co-host a daily food segment with a seasoned culinary figure for broadcast (radio) as well as the internet (video) counterpart.
What we’re looking for:
• Female (Sorry, guys.) about 25-35 years of age
• Formally trained chef
• Bright and funny
• A natural in front of the camera and behind the microphone
• Is committed to being an active participant in culinary media
• Doesn’t take herself too seriously
• A genuine love for food
• Someone willing to do the work in Napa (You don’t have to live here, but you will have to work here…so nearby is ideal.)
What we’re NOT looking for:
• A talking head (this will require work)
• The next Food Network star (this is about the content not just about you)
• Someone with a current or recent show (production legal reasons)
