Thank you so much for your interest in dancing with VeggieTales Live! tour. We will be traveling throughout the United States for 9-10 weeks in the fall starting early September and wrapping mid November (check out our routing at www.veggietales.com/live). Rehearsals start in Nashville on September 4, 2012 and wrap September 12, 2012. The tour starts September 13 and wrap November 12.
We are based out of Nashville, so if selected, you are required to pay for travel to and from Nashville at the beginning and end of the tour if you are not currently based in Nashville. Also, all off days that are in Nashville, you are responsible for your own lodging, transportation and meals.
Pay is $500/week. Food is provided during rehearsals and on all show days, and for non-performance days not in Nashville, you will receive a per diem.
You must be 18 or older to tour with us. Most of our dance styles are broadway and jazz, and we also include some hiphop and ballet. You must have experience in at least one of these dance styles, and ability to learn quickly. Also if hired, your job role may include being in an inflatable costume for a large portion of the shows.
Since VeggieTales is a Christian-based company, we have a very strict code of conduct, including no drinking on the bus or in venues, smoking in designated areas only, and we have a very strict code on what is watched on the bus and the venues. We travel mostly to churches and you must be able to represent our brand well.
