Rose Tinted Productions is seeking submissions for a new production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Dir/choreo Edward Carignan.
Rehearsals begin in Boston July 30th and performances will be August 13,14, 20, and 21 at Club Oberon in Boston with a possible extension and future venues.
Seeking:
Hedwig: male to play a male to female transsexual, excellent actor with East German accent, glam/punk rock tenor, some dance/movement skills are a plus.
Yitzhak: female to play female to male transsexual, rock alto and excellent actress with Eastern European accent.
The Angry Inch: Hedwig’s band, 4 musicians with limited lines and some interaction in the show, piano, bass, guitar, drums- especially seeking a Boston area band to play these roles, but we will accept submissions from individuals as well. Also seeking a Music Director.
