Vallejo Shakespeare in the Park is seeking actors for the roles of Toby Belch, Andrew Aguecheek, Antonio, Curio, Valentine and Fabian. These are traditionally male roles, but we are open to the idea of casting a female in a male role. All other roles are cast.
Rehearsals start Monday, June 18th. Rehearsals are Monday through Friday evenings, 6:30-10pm in Vallejo. Performances are Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29th at 1pm at Hann’s Park in Vallejo; and Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th at the John Muir Amphitheater in Martinez. Actors receive a guaranteed 50.00 stipend, plus we will be “passing the hat” at each performance. Directors: Armond Edward Dorsey and Leon Goertzen.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, June 3rd at 4pm at Hann’s Park in Vallejo; and Monday, June 4th, from 7pm – 10pm at the Foley Cultural Center. For Audition appointment, please e-mail headshot/resume to vallejoshakespeare@gmail.com.
