Musicocity- NYC Chorus Auditions TONIGHT, SEPT 4TH!
Are you a fan of The Sing Off! and Glee? Do you love a cappella music and campy harmonies? Is that shower singer ready for his or her Manhattan debut?
If this sounds like you COME AUDITION FOR MUSICOCITY, Manhattan’s funkiest and most fun-loving show choir! Right now we’re looking for singers in all parts, but especially basses and tenors.
Auditions will beheld at Ripley Grier (520 8th Avenue between West 36th and 37th Sts, New York, NY 10018) in room 16C ON TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 4, 2012 at 7:30-9PM. Please come prepared with 16-32 bars of music (2 songs) that showcase your range and voice- songs can be in any genre, but it’s best if the two songs you choose have some contrast (for example, one ballad, the other more up-tempo). There will also be some sight-singing at the audition. Don’t worry if you’re not yet an expert- we welcome people of all levels!
Come be a part of our 3rd season: Weekly rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 7:30-9PM, beginning on September 11th.
