The Amadeus Opera is seeking singers (sopranos, tenors, and bass/baritones), actors (for a spoken role in English), string players (violins and cellos) and an accompanist/music director for our 2012 Season: Mozart’s “Bastien and Bastienne” and “The Impresario” fully-staged, in English, with chamber orchestra. All roles are open and will be double cast.This is a paid performance opportunity. Audition applications must be received by July 7th, 2012. Auditions will be held on Sat., July 14th and 21st, 2012 at our location in Holbrook, NY (Long Island).
Performances are on Sat, Nov. 10th and 17th, 2012, at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Northport, NY. Tentative Rehearsal Schedule: Saturdays, Aug. – Nov., at our Holbrook location. More detailed schedule TBA. (Please note that we are unable to provide compensation for travel/housing expenses.)
