Dear Agents, Talent, and Friends,
We are working with Gladney Management Group. We have been put in charge of casting local Miami actors and actresses for the first 4 pilot episodes of a new local comedy show “Out of my Mind!” filmed for TV. This is a once and a life time opportunity!
Diamond Gladney is manager for the stars and his current client, Spanky Hayes of MTV Wild N Out, will be the host of the show (Think of an “In Living Color” and “Saturday Night Live” mash-up show).
The pilot shows will film and run for 4 consecutive weeks every wednesday startingSept 19, 2012. @The Rokbar on Miami Beach. If we receive the appropriate amount of views and ratings, The network will extend for another 8 wks!
Because this is a pilot we are hoping to sell the show to a network. Nonpayment to anyone unless it sells, but if it does(I am pretty confident) then the actors get back pay for the episodes and an opportunity to stay on for the remainder of the season ( if they want).
Should the show not sell ( doubtful) the actors will still have acting credits they can use on their resume.
This is a good project for actors who are just staring or have a little acting experience.
We are looking for unknown & hungry, diverse cast that can be funny and improvise. All sizes and shapes welcome.
here is what we are looking for: 2 sexy female models to be “go-go” dancers (no stripping or nudity at all… bathing suit required or our “out of my mind!” promo wear (booty shorts and cut-off shirts)
hispanic males any size 21-35
african american males- any size 21-35
hispanic females any size 21-35
african american females any size 21-35
we need a only 2 really specific characters:
we would like to see one “Chris farley” type male- heavey set male, african american preferabley (but not required), around 25-35
secondly we are looking for a female “hoodrat” or “chonga” type of girl, thin, white/hispanic preferable (but not required), around 25-35
