Renowned Beatles Tribute Production Auditioning for the Part of George Harrison

The touring Beatles Tribute production is holding auditions casting the role of George Harrison. The production is well renowned with a very large fan base, has been touring for around 20 years and has steady tour dates immediately and booked well into 2013. The production plays in large theaters seating anywhere from 1,000 – 3,000.

Producers are seeking a musician / actor in their 20s – 40s to perform the role of George Harrison. Applicants must be experienced lead guitarists, vocalist and keyboardist. The role requires playing all leads during the performance, keyboard parts including strings, horns and piano parts, vocals including all backing harmonies throughout the show as well as 3-4 Harrison songs.

The production tours mainly on the East Coast. Applicant should live in this area anywhere from NY State, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Massachusetts etc. We are based out of NYC and tour mainly as far north as Maine, and as far south as Maryland. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to these locations.

It is very important that applicants have great stage presence, acting skills as “the quiet Beatle”, be able to speak in a British accent on stage, and have a positive attitude.

We are looking for a long term replacement to join this production, and are looking for someone who is willing to work with us in a positive, high energy, reliable, professional, easy going fashion.

We will be accepting applications including experienced “Beatle Impersonators” as well as experienced musicians who are willing to learn the part of the character with our assistance.
