Nashrox Entertainment is seeking talented actors for its new upcoming project. The play is a social drama to be represented in Spanish; it will explore the darkest vices of humanity, represented by the systematic torture employed by totalitarian governments and the thirst for control of the group as society. Auditions will be conducted in two parts. First, the talent will be asked to send a monologue IN SPANISH no longer than 3 to 5 minutes, representing a realistic character, no camera movement or edition needed. The production will focus on body and facial expression, voice control and will make a selection to invite a group of actors for the second part of the audition, which will be a cold reading of a fragment of the play. Date and place will be disclosed upon formal invitation.
Roles available:
Male: Lead Role
Young, 20 – 25 years old (or appearance)
Ectomorph, slender to athletic body type. Short hair or in disposition to cut it military style.
Eduardo is a smart fanatic, member of the new wave, enthusiastic and willing to do anything to learn the system.
Male: Lead Role
Mature, 25 – 35 years old (or appearance)
Mesomorph, athletic body type.
Pepe is an experienced impulsive old timer. Never questioning the system and always ready to work with energy and passion.
Male: Lead Role
Mature, 25 – 35 years old (or appearance)
Mesomorph to endomorph, athletic to full shape body type.
Beto is Pepe’s counterpart. Analytic, systematic, with a wider vision of what is waiting ahead in his future. Experienced at the job but starting to question the system.
2 Females: Supporting Roles
Mature, 25 – 40 years old.
Ectomorph to mesomorph, slender to athletic body type.
La Coca and La Negra are two prostitutes sent to start the party. Energetic and happy. Experienced street queens. Half nudity might be part of these roles.
Female: Supporting Role
Mature, 35 – 55 years old.
Endomorph, full shape body type.
Doña Sara, the cleaning lady. Charismatic and energetic. Strong personality and servile.
