Auditions for our production of “Let Me Out” by: Jared Pixler for the Hollywood Fringe Festival. (NON-EQUITY)

LOCATION:
The Complex Theaters
HAMMOND STUDIO 2nd Floor entrance on Santa Monica

AUDITION/CALLBACK:
Auditions begin at 5:00 pm (sign in starts 30 min prior and ends promptly at 7:00pm)

Auditions and Callbacks are the same day and could go past 10:00pm.

Prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues, no longer than 5 minutes in length combined.
Headshot and resume strongly encouraged but not required.

Please bring calendar with availability and be prepared to fill out availability calendar.

PERFORMANCE DATES:
Performance dates are June 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, and 22 at 9:30 pm at the “Ruby Theater” at “The Complex” and June 23rd at 6:00 pm. (Possible extension.)

REHEARSALS:
Rehearsals will be Sundays Evenings/Nights April 7, 14, 21, 28. TBD in May. Tech week begins June 3rd.

ROLES:
All roles are open for consideration.

John- Jock. All American boy next door. Trying to keep a secret. (M2M kissing and closeness.)

Luke- Jock. Charming. The kind of guy you love and love to hate. Best Friend to John.

Jessie- Smart, thoughtful, regular guy. Openly gay, not flamboyant. (M2M Kissing and closeness)

Mona- Strong, smart, and a bit of a hippie. (Think UC Berkeley or UCSC.)

Courtney- Valley girl type, wealthly, simple minded. A “mean girl”, think Regina George. Still stuck in High School.

Jessica- Charming, attractive, religious almost to a fault. A girl you really want to like but just can’t.
