Wanted: Women & Men willing to battle their inner demons by challenging the norm & re-defining expectations.
Too often a society becomes complacent with their personal thoughts & are persuaded to believe in a certain manner concerning the everyday roles of both women & men. For our next two shows, Bare Knuckle Productions will examine the dichotomy of personal & societal perceptions while dissecting what it means to be a woman as we let loose a ferocious pack of ladies, Quentin Tarantino-style!
In cooperation with Roundhouse Productions, we will be re-mounting their successful 2011 all-female version of “Reservoir Dogs.” The story remains the same to the film, but the impact on the audience’s ideals will be forever changed as women take hold of the wheel in this colorful crime story gone awry.
Stretching the boundaries yet in a completely different manner, “Inglourious Bitches” follows a pack of specialized American soldiers on a guilt-free ravaging mission against Nazi Germany. Women take point as this version’s “Basterds” yet this femininity is not recognized except for inside of the individual audience member’s thoughts; all other casting will be gender-blind.

What to expect:
*Auditions will be in 10 minute slots between the times listed at 4001 N. Ravenswood Ave. During the audition you will perform your chosen monologue, meet the production team, & chat about yourself & the project(s). Be prepared for possible cold readings as well.

*You will receive an automated confirmation email upon completion of scheduling your appointment. Within 24 hours a follow-up email will be sent with additional details; automated audition reminders will also occur.
What to prepare:
*In your follow-up email, you will receive a production schedule & a link to an online audition sheet. Please fill these out completely & be sure to list all known & potential conflicts to the posted production schedule (including the Callback date). Attach the documents & reply back to ReservoirDogs@BareKnuckleProductions.org &/or InglouriousBitches@BareKnuckleProductions.org no later than midnight, the Saturday before the auditions. If there are issues with internet/sending this out, please text 773-998-BNP1 by that same time in order to notify us of your situation; then bring that paperwork with you to the auditions.

*Monologue – Choose & prepare your best 60-90 second monologue of any genre & variety to show us your particular strengths as a performer.
*As with all of our productions, Violence & Movement will be a great part of this show — Performers must have previous combat (staged or traditional) experience, knowledge, & interest; those with movement experience but only with violence knowledge/interest are still appreciated & will be considered for certain roles.
