FOX “Glee” Casting Notice

The hit FOX musical Glee is coming back for a new season in 2014 – Extras are now being cast.

New episodes are now in production. Casting directors in Los Angeles are seeking NON-UNION extras that can work on the show next week. The show films in L.A. and only Los Angeles residents will be considered. Seeking extras of all ethnicities that are 18 to 60 years of age.

“Glee” was created by Ian Brennan, Brad Falchuk and Ryan Murphy.

The cast includes:

  • Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison)
  • Cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch)
  • guidance counselor Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays)
  • Will’s wife Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig),
  • Glee club members: Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Mark Salling, and Jenna Ushkowitz.


Glee is an hour long musical / sitcom which focuses on the William McKinley High School glee club. The glee club competes in musical competitions and the show also focuses on the students lives and relationships between the schools staff, teachers and students within the school and the Glee club.

The shows pilot came out in 2009 and the series first season ran 2009 – 2010. The show has now gone 5 seasons and a 6th season is in the works. The series has been so popular that a Glee reality show aired a few years back.

Extras casting directors, Sande Alessi Casting issued the following notice:

NON UNION CASTING NOTICE-Shoots in Los Angeles on “glee”. YOU MUST LIVE HERE TO SUBMIT. Shoots on Tuesday, December 17th with possible recall for Wednesday, December 18th. YOU MUST BE AVAIL BOTH DAYS. Do NOT submit if you are SAG. All of our SAG spots go to stand-ins on this show. Also, PLEASE do not submit if you are a regular on the show.

NON UNION Men & Women, age 18-60. Please submit a current color snapshot, your height/weight, age range and phone number to: If you are 18 TLY, the subject line should read: ORANGE If you are 25-60 years old, the subject line should read: BANANA.
