The Milford Performing Arts Center, the area’s only family arts community, winner of WMRC’s most outstanding local music organization award, presents auditions for “The Sound of Music”, the legendary Rodgers and Hammerstein musical. Roles for young men and women ranging in age from 8 to 25, in a large cast of experienced and first time actors. Performances will happen at the Davoren Auditorium at Milford High School on June 21, 22, and 23, 2013.
Auditions will be held at the MPAC studio at 150 Main Street, Milford. Suggested audition times: Sunday, March 10, 2013 from noon to 3:00 PM for actors 14 years and older; Monday, March 11, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM for actors 11 to 13 years old; and Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for boys and girls aged 8 to 10 years. If you are unavailable at suggested time, you may come at one of the other audition times. Please prepare a song and bring both your sheet music and a recent photo (school pictures okay).
