Casting Call for To Be Romanced a UCF student short film (Non Union). Directed by Kalhil Adames.
Plot line: An introverted young woman falls for an alluring young man who offers her the ultimate escape from her painful and troubled life.
Looking for talented actors for three main roles. Filming will take place Nov. 30 – Dec 2 in Orlando & Fort Meyers.
Gas and meals will be reimbursed and actors will be paid. Actors from Atlanta & New York welcome!
Carlos: Alluring, mysterious, and deceptive, Carlos is Eva’s escape. He is a facade of alleviation from the fast paced world that is closing in on Eva, but all the while he has his own mission in mind.

Antonio: Eva’s father, he has taken to drinking in order to numb the pain and guilt he feels after his wife’s death. Failing to understand his daughter Eva and her grief, he ends up pushing her away.

Frank: An angry neighborhood father who directs his hatred and racism toward Antonio.
