Now entering its 37th season, the Illinois Shakespeare Festival is still producing energetic new interpretations of plays, with the artistry and humanity of the Shakespearean canon as our inspiration and guide. The Festival performs to audiences of over 10,000 every summer and operates under an Actors’ Equity U/RTA Tier II contract.
We are now accepting audition submissions for our 2014 season, which will be announced in September.
Due to the high level of interest in the Festival, we ask that you submit an initial video audition of one or two Shakespeare monologues. Please email h/r and links to Youtube/Vimeo auditions or video files to auditions@ilstu.edu, or mail h/r and a DVD to:

We will accept submissions prior to Saturday, October 19. Live callback auditions will be held in New York, Chicago, Milwaukee and Normal, IL beginning in November.
