Tattoo artists and those of you seeking a free tat, Ink Master season 5 is currently casting tattoo artists and also those who will be the human canvases used on the show!
Open casting calls are coming to some major US cities which include Philly, Nashville, Phoenix, Jacksonville and New York City!
Do you think you are the best tattoo artist around? Maybe you just want a free tattoo? Ink Master is coming back to Spike and Dave Navarro will be back to host season 5!
Ink Master is a reality tattoo artist competition which airs on Spike. Each episode features challenges for the artists and those challenges are completed on what the show calls a “human canvas” (which they are also casting). Like other reality competitions, there is a winner and a loser. The loser gets booted off the show and the remaining tattoo artists move on to another set of ink challenges.
If you are a tattoo artist who would like to compete on the show you better get those pics ready. Casting directors for the show are requesting that tattoo artists applying bring in a minimum of 10 pics of their very best ink work. However before even attending the event, tattoo artists are asked to email 20 pics of their work along with a completed application.
Before you trek on down to the open call, please be sure to do the following!

A completed Tattoo Artist participant application
Two (2) recent photographs of you
A minimum of twenty (20) digital photos of your work*
One (1) legible photocopy of EITHER (1) your passport; OR (2) your driver’s license OR (3) your state ID card
When emailing your 20 pictures, please follow the below instructions:
Type “Your Name–Pictures” in the subject line (ex. John Smith–Pictures). Also, please label each picture (ex. JohnSmith1, JohnSmith2.)
Please have this to us immediately following your interview.
Please submit your BEST tattoo work and include various types of tattoos (i.e. Japanese, Black & Grey, American Traditional, New School, Realism, etc.)
