The Jersey Shore Arts Center announces open auditions for You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (original 1967 Off-Broadway version), based on the comic strip “Peanuts” by Charles M. Schulz with book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gessner. Stage and musical direction will be by Norman “Doc” Hart.
4 men and 2 women (age range from 18 to mid-30s) are needed, and all roles are open. In addition to being able to act and sing well, all roles require performers who can sing harmony and counter-melodies, and who can execute basic to intermediate musical theatre dance steps, depending on the role. All voice ranges are medium to medium-high, and the ability to project without the aid of body mikes is highly desirable.
