HBO’s ‘Boardwalk Empire’ is having a casting call for teens and adults.
GWC released 2 notices for a scene filming on ‘Boardwalk Empire’s‘ series finale. The show is looking for teen boys in the area that would be OK with getting a haircut to play bellhops at a hotel as well as adults, men and women, to play visitors to the beach.
This scene will film this coming Friday and there is a fitting tomorrow in NYC that all talent cast must be able to attend.
HBO’s Emmy Award winning series is coming to a close. HBO announced that season 5, which is currently about to wrap, will be the show’s final season. ‘Boardwalk Empire‘ is set Atlantic City during the prohibition era in the 20’s and 30’s. The HBO show is based on a book written by Nelson Johnson, Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City. The story follows the corruption of the time in Atlantic city and centers on Atlantic City’s corrupt treasurer, Nucky Thompson who is played by Steve Buscemi.
The HBO series mixes together historical figures and fictional ones to create the visually lavish and violent world of 1920?s Atlantic City. The show’s pilot was directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Terence Winter (The Sopranos). Martin scorsese has also been one of the producers working on the HBO series.

Teen boys (5’3-5’4) to play hotel bellhops. Must be OK with 1930’s haircut (see the picture below).
Non-Union men and women to play 1930’s beach-goers. Men must be OK with 1930’s haircut and being clean-shaven. Women must have shoulder length hair or shorter. No allergies to wool.
