So do we at North Shore Players in Danvers, MA and we welcome you to join us at open auditions for “The Homecoming

Audition dates:
Auditions on 3 September will be in two sessions – youth auditions are from 6-7 p.m. and adult auditions are 7-9 pm.

Auditions on 7 September will also be in two sessions – youth auditions are from 5-6 p.m. and adult auditions are 6-9 pm.

Cast: 20 to 30 or more, from children to grandparents. Cast is multi-generational and multi-cultural.. (Roles for about ten children, ages 6 – 18)
Location: Hogan Regional Auditorium

Special Notes:
Please bring any head shots, and resumes if you have any. If not we will take a headshot during the audition.
Normal audition requires singing 16 bars of any song of your choice, also doing readings from the script.

The Homecoming” is a heart-warming musical adaptation of the premier episode of “The Waltons” TV series depicting a pivotal Christmas Eve for the oldest son of a family struggling through the Depression in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The TV show and this play were based on the book “Spencer’s Mountain” by Earl Hamner, Jr.

Performance dates are 6, 7, 12, 13, and 14 December.

Rehearsals will begin 11 September at 7 pm. Rehearsals will be Sundays from 5-9 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 – 9:30.

We encourage anyone interested to come and join us at Hogan Regional Auditorium 6 Hathorne Circle, Danvers, MA. For GPS, enter address 450 Maple St, Danvers, then go past it to the next large parking lot on the left. Main sign at parking lot entrance indicates “Recreation Building.”
