A new casting notice was released for the Robert Rodriguez new series “from Dusk Till Dawn“. The show is currently filming in Austin Texas and there have been quite a few calls for extras in the series.
For this week and weekend producers are looking for a little people or a adults of small stature as well as as men of all ethnicities who have a tough, athletic look. These are both for overnight shoots so anyone applying must have that kind of availability.
The original “From Dusk Till Dawn” film was about a pair of bank robbing brothers who kidnapped a preacher and his two children then ended up in a hole in the wall bar that was occupied by vampires. All hell broke loose as the vampires attacked.
The film was made in the 90’s and starred George Clooney, Quentin Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis, Salma Hayek, Cheech Marin and Danny Trejo. The new El Rey Network series brings back the bank robbing brothers and the crazy vampire characters including the seductive, yet deadly, Santánico Pandemonium (Check her out on the promo poster below) who was originally played by Salma Hayek. Eiza Gonzalez takes over that role.
“From Dusk Till Dawn” will premiere next week on the brand new El Rey network.
Third Coast Extras is accepting submissions for specific types to work as extras on Robert Rodriguez’s TV Series “From Dusk Till Dawn,” for an OVERNIGHT shoot in north central Austin on FRIDAY, MARCH 7th. Call time will be afternoon/evening and will go ALL night until early morning the next day Saturday 3/8 so full availability is a must.
The show is only looking for people who have not yet appeared in the show! If you have already worked on “From Dusk Till Dawn” please do not apply.

Call times on both days will be afternoon/evening and may go ALL night until early morning the next day.
Stand-in or on-set experience preferred, but not required. Please share with anyone who fits this!:
*Caucasian female or male, ages 18-40s, with height between 4’0″- 4’11” to match a child actor.
Pay rate is $125/12hr.
