Lead Roles in TV Commercial to Film in VA – Pays $5000

Paid roles for major TV commercial – Male and female actors in Richmond Virginia.

A major furniture/mattress television commercial will be filming in Virginia next month. Casting directors at Arvold Casting will be holding auditions for 5 main roles in the project.

Auditions for the television commercial will be Monday through Friday this upcoming week and will be by appointment only in  Charlottesville, VA. There will also be callbacks the following week in Richmond Virginia. Shoot dates are scheduled for the week of July 8th and the project will be shot for 1 day, also in the Richmond area. Talent cast for the roles will be paid $5000.

The TV commercial will be directed by Sam Crawford and executive produced by John Noble  for the Traveling Picture Show Company.

Arvold Casting in Virginia is seeking to fill the following roles:

GAS STATION ATTENDANT: 35-55, Male, Caucasian. A character face with an authentic presence and deep voice, perhaps a bit eccentric but not over the top. Beard is preferred but not essential.

GAS STATION CUSTOMER: Mid 20’s-Early 50’s, Male, Any ethnicity. Authentic variety of reactions necessary.

FAST FOOD ATTENDANT: Late teen’s – Early 20’s, Female, Any ethnicity. Bubbly, innocent, not stupid but rather, unaware of the absurdity of just doing her job.

FAST FOOD CUSTOMER: Late 20’s – Early 50’s, Male or Female, Any ethnicity. Great facial expressions are essential.

SALESMAN: Early 20’s – Mid-30’s, Male, Any ethnicity. Confident, contemporary, authoritative, likable and dynamic, he convinces everyone that buying a mattress requires his particular expertise, experience, and professionalism.

Audition dates will be Monday, June 23rd – Friday, June 27th in Charlottesville, VA with callbacks scheduled for the following week, either on Tuesday, July 1st or Wednesday, July 2nd in Richmond, VA. The project will film on July 8th, 9th, or 10th and will be a one day shoot in the Richmond area.

Pay – $5,000 flat (includes agency fee) for usage buyout for one (1) full year – This is a non-union gig.
