The new WEtv demon hunter series “South of Hell” has a casting call out in South Carolina
The show is looking to fill a variety of roles that will be filming this week in the Charleston area. Please note there are multiple roles below some of which have different work dates.
According to the WE tv blog, the WE Network will be doing 8 60-minute episodes for the first season which are currently filming. The supernatural show will be produced by Sonar Entertainment and Blumhouse Productions (“Paranormal Activity,” “Insidious,” “Sinister”).Matt Lambert is writing the 1st episode of the show and James Manos, Jr. (“Dexter,” “The Shield,” “The Sopranos”) will executive produce. Also executive producing the series is a guy known for horror films, Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions.
The show focuses on a demon hunter named Maria who along with her brother try to exorcise demons who they find living in others. Maria is not without her own demon. She to has a demon living within her who she tries to keep under control. Mena Suvari will be starring in the new series.
The show films in Charleston and the extras casting directors for the series are Vanessa N. Casting.
